Hands-on activities and exhibits that promote and protect native species, enhance water quality in streams and rivers, teach conservation practices, and reduce invasive plant species.

Sustainable Energy

Renewable

Energy

Learn about electric vehicles, solar energy, and ways to be energy efficient. Learn from residents who will share their experience with installing solar energy

Tree Lined Path

Urban Forest and

Trees

Participate in hands-on tree planting. Learn about tree care, the importance of trees, the carbon and water cycle, food forests, urban wood, and ash tree treatment and replacement.

Community Service

Waukesha County Green Team Community Groups

Learn about the active community groups in your neighborhood. 

Volunteer with the Sussex, Elm Grove, Pewaukee, Permaculture and Gardening, Creation Care Network,

or Zero Waste Groups.

Family Time

Family and Kid-Friendly Activities
