Plastics in the Great Lakes RegionWEAL specially invites you to this presentation which will delve into the critical issue of plastics in our environment. Explore the scale of the problem and the broader implications of plastic pollution, including its effects on wildlife, water quality, and human health. Speakers Liz Sutton from the UW-Milwaukee School of Freshwater Sciences and Milwaukee Riverkeeper, both a part of Plastic Free MKE, will discuss and answer questions about how you can contribute to reducing plastic waste in your community.
Liz Sutton is Outreach Program Manager for theSchool of Freshwater Sciences at UW-Milwaukee.
