About the event

Join us Tuesday, March 4 for an Introduction to and Conversation about “Nature’s Best Hope” a book by Doug Tallamy.

Ever wonder if the self-sustaining local food webs on which we humans depend collapsed? To date, we’ve grassed, mowed, cleared, paved, and developed 95% of the lower 48 states. We’ve imported thousands of species of plants, insects and diseases from other lands which have decimated many of our native plant communities on which these food webs and ultimately human food depend.

The good news is that it is not too late for recovery.  Come learn how we can individually and as a community lead an evolution to an eco-beneficial and sustainable coexistence that enhances the physical wellbeing of our land, our food, our families, and our community.

A suggested $5-10 donation to Waukesha County Green Team when you register or at the door is welcome. This event is…
