About the event

Join us for a tour of the City of Waukesha's Clean Water Plant! We will see the different steps in the treatment of the liquid and solid waste.


NOTE: Visitors must wear long pants and closed toe shoes and have the ability to climb and descend stairs as necessary.


The Clean Water Plant (CWP) is a water treatment plant for the City of Waukesha. The Waukesha Clean Water Treatment Plant treats an average of 10 to 12 million gallons a day, although it’s capable of handling an average of 18.5 million gallons a day and a peak flow of 23 million gallons a day.
