Wales Main Street Green Market
Saturday May 31 from 10 am to 2 pm 
at the corner of Main and Elias Streets in downtown Wales. 

Wales, WI – The Wales Main Street Green Market is an outdoor exhibition that aims to encourage area residents and businesses to adopt green practices by providing a lively venue for viewing resources, participating in educational demonstrations, and purchasing products.

Hands-On Activities
  • Build a bird feeder out of toilet paper rolls 
  • Participate in a perennial plant exchange - bring potted or wrapped noninvasive perennial plants from your garden to share with others 
  • Make a "flower bomb" with native plant seeds.

Dressy Isles Dressy Isles re-purposes and up-cycles vintage furniture and other into useful household items. Dressy Isles strives to extend the lifespan of useful items, keeping them out of landfills and reducing our dependence on "new" items. 
Evolution Marketing Evolution Marketing was the first business in WI to purchase the all electric Nissan leaf as our zero emission fleet vehicle in June of 2012. Since then, we have tracked our energy use and are managing an ongoing case study related to our experiences with this innovative vehicle.

Friends of Lapham Peak Hausmann Nature Center built with sustainable features. Prairie Restoration . Blue Bird population, Butterfly Garden , Control of Invasive species.   Ranger will sell trail passes, park stickers. There will be Literature about the Southern Unit (Kettle Moraine) which includes the Lapham Peak unit. Lapham Peak
Friends of the Delafield Library Used book sale. Funds raised go directly to sponsor library needs and programs.
Gvora Ltd This collection of women's flirty skirts, tunics and accessories are crafted from once-loved t-shirts.  Each item is truly unique as motifs and colors are combined to create new, fun garment. 
Good Harvest Market We will bring samples of some locally produced and/or organic foods. Our booth will feature various sustainability initiatives that we utilize to decrease our carbon footprint and how we help shoppers both increase wellness as well as make environmentally sustainable choices.
Green Garage furniture Small wooden items that have been re-purposed, including chairs, small tables, boxes, and home and garden decor.
Kettle Moraine Garden Club

The Kettle Moraine Garden Club would like to promote the exchange/sharing of plants from our gardens. Please divide and pot or wrap noninvasive perennial plants you would like to share. 

KMHS Caretakers of the Environment Club We will display pictures of the work that our group does (litter pick-ups, Earth Day awareness, sustainable lifestyle initiatives such as vegetable gardening, etc.). Items for sale will include club fundraiser items such as stainless steel water bottles, reusable lunch bags, and t-shirts with an environmental message.  We plan to have a composting display, a microgreen display, and have a station for kids to  make toilet paper roll bird feeders (peanut butter and seeds).
Moraine Meadows Farm Backyard beekeeping. We'll bring some basic tools and an empty hive.
Plowshare Fair Trade Marketplace The Plowshare Fair Trade Marketplace has many unique items made from natural and recycled materials, including: purses and wallets from recycled tire inner tubes, notebooks and stationery from elephant dung, Haitian wall art from recycled oil drums, bowls and vases from recycled newspaper and magazines, rhythm instruments from nuts and gourds, soda can art, and tagua jewelry. 
Pumpkin Hollow Herb Farm A wide variety of herb bedding plants available for sale. We love to encourage and help anyone interested in growing herbs.

Wildlife In Need Center The Wildlife In Need Center will be available to discuss how through our staff and volunteers we provides care for injured, ill and orphaned wildlife in Southeastern Wisconsin.  We will have a few educational ambassadors for patrons to meet and educate on their natural history.  We will be selling our book "Connecting with Wisconsin Wildlife".
